In order to make a film that is worthy of being in a film festival you have to put in a lot of work and effort in order for it to be a quality film. If you want to get your film into major festivals follow these steps.
1. Create a film that is absolutely amazing.
The film has to have a great script, great acting, sound design and soundtrack has to be good as well as strong cinematography. Editing is also a major factor in film making. If the editing isn’t flawless it isn’t ready for a major film festival.
2. Have a promotion budget.
You need a budget for covering DVD copies and fees for festivals. You have to have money to promote your film.
3. Do not send your film to only one film festival.
To increase your chances send your film to at least 3 festivals. The more festivals the better.
